Legal Requirements
You must be 21 years of age or older to order or receive alcoholic beverages from Tessa Marie Wines. Receipt of shipments containing alcoholic beverages requires the signature of a sober adult (a person 21 years of age or older who is not intoxicated). No wine or beer will be delivered to visibly intoxicated persons and any person unable to provide age verification will forfeit their right to receive the shipment until identification is produced. In such circumstances the order may either be held in storage at a local depot of the shipping company until appropriate identification is produced, or shipped back to Tessa Marie Wines. All associated costs will be the responsibility of and be charged to the customer. Wines purchased from Tessa Marie Wines are not for resale, and are for personal consumption only.
Wine Is a Delicate Commodity
Wine is a perishable commodity. Wine does not like extremes of temperature: hot humid summer and cold winter weather may adversely affect the condition of your wine during shipment. Tessa Marie Wines is not responsible for, and will not replace wine that is damaged by extreme weather conditions during shipment. When your wine and/or beer order is picked up by the common carrier for delivery, responsibility for the wine and/or beer becomes the responsibility of the purchaser.
States Authorized for Direct Shipment
Due to the ever-changing nature of wine shipping laws, we are able to ship wines, directly or indirectly, to most states. If your state is one that Tessa Marie Wines is unable to ship directly to, we will do our best to assist you in arranging for the sale and shipment of our products through a third party. Please note, however, that when dealing through a third party, wine prices, discounts, and shipping costs may differ from those quoted by Tessa Marie Wines.
Other Merchandise
Non-wine merchandise items such as books, accessories, gourmet items and gifts can be shipped anywhere within the United States.
Shipping Costs
United Parcel Service (UPS) is Tessa Marie Wines' carrier of choice for wine. Non-wine merchandise items are shipped via USPS either via Standard Post or Priority Mail as chosen by the customer in the checkout process. All shipping charges will be clearly indicated in the shopping cart checkout process BEFORE you will be required to commit to your order and will be included in your credit card charge. There are never any hidden charges or fees and your order is not submitted for payment until you confirm the total, including the shipping charges.
